i got an 89 5.0 with a few bolt on mods. i'm getting between a 50-100 shot of nitrous. what else will i need. one of my friends told me that i should check to see if i needed a new fuel pump b/c if the fuel pump can't support the nitrous when its intruced into the engine, the engine will be mostly running off the nitrous, inturn blow up the engine. what else will i need (fuel pump, lines, rails)?? or is a 50 shot small enough where i can maniage stock parts?

you shouldn't need anying other then what's in the kit for that much. Is it a dry setup or wet that you're getting? The wet's are better.

 

well you car shouldnt realy have problems but it is a little old, i personally(OPINION ONLY) would change the pistons or something. and upgrade the fuel system you would not have to worry about anything

 

fuel, fuel, fuel, - go ahead and get a secondary pump for the nitrous, need that volume
