PLUG QUESTION???
Alright i install a nx wet kit about a month ago and i just put a 50 shot in it just to get used to it on stock plugs and didnt need to retard timing. but today i plan on putting the 100 jets in i was wondering if i would need a colder plug and if so which one? also im goin to retard the timing 2 degrees should that be enough?
I like the NGK TR6 plugs, I would put them in just to be on the safe side even though some will say it's not 100% needed on just a 100 shot. They are fine to daily drive on as well.
yeah you can never be too safe, but personally i use stock plugs on 100 shot, gapped at .040" and if it's cool run 14* initial timing on 93 octane
so, if your 100% sure you didn't lean out on the 50, 2* is fine, but if you never read your plugs after a nitrous run, or it was cooler out than now (considerably different like 20*)
might wanna back off 4*
14* timing is a little cutting edge, not really worth the risk unless your certain your out of danger.
only way to tell is by mph at the track, or reading your plugs

i just did a run on the 50 shot just to check the plugs they look good so im going to back timing down 2-4 degrees and get new plugs andgap them at .040 then try it out and check the plugs ill let you all know how it goes tomarrow but thanks a lot
cool, you don't always hear sparkknock, but it will show on the plugs.
and you will melt a plug b4 burning a piston, but not a lot of time in between if you get super lean on the spray.
