What are the pro's and cons of each and which do you prefer?

Of those two I would go with the Vortech. My personal preference is a centrifugal blower.

For a autocross type application the KB is better, but for an everyday fun driver the centrifugal S/C is much more efficient.

I'm a sucker for the KB. Very clean install, no extra BS and it sounds awesome, not to mention awesome torque. for all out drag application i'd say Vortech is the best bet, but for the street I thinkt he KB is way more fun. Did i mention awesome torque?

i do admit, i like the way the KB screams better than the vortech whistles. the vortech was more in my price range though.

I dunno what you are thinking the "extra bs" is going to be on a vortech vs a KB. You need virtually everything for one as you do for the other.
