Default KB or Hellion?

Well, i have a stock 5.0 and i was wondering what would be better for street use of the 2? I heard turbos are more efficient, but for some reason the KB appeals to me. These are both around the same price neighborhood too if im not mistaken, right?

Both are great on the street but the turbo will have more potential down the road if you ever decide to build a motor.

How much do both of these cost? Also, would they work fine with a stock 5.0? the KB would make more bottom end torque because it doesnt have to spool, right or wrong?

thanks guys.

Yeah, a KB will boost quicker. Them and Whipples are really the only S/C's that give you the "instant boost". Go to the websites to see how much they cost. The hellion is probably going to set you back a little more BUT Turbo's are my personal favorite. Probably cuz I got one.

Depends what you plan on doing/running... also, it depends wheter you love gobs of torque or top end...

That's kinda misleading, because I'm assumming you meant that the KB will give you torque and the turbo will give you top end. The nickname for turbo mustangs, at least in my area, is "Torque Monsters". Turbo's create tons of torque it's just higher in the powerband. Turbo is all around better, BUT then it also matters on what you want to do. If you want to get like 400 to 600 HP with some engine mods and boost. Save yourself some money and go KB. If you are like me and most turbo mustang guys, you don't want to ever stop gaining HP and you want to eventually get 800+ go turbo. Just kinda what you like better and what's better for your budget.

I thought KBs were just as expensive as turbos? I cant find prices anywhere, could someone help me out and get me in the ballpark for prices?

And btw this is going to remain DD, i just want a fun street machine with lots torque and plenty of power. Also, isnt KB supposed to be coming out with an intercool of some sort?
