Default Gears or Long tubes?

I cant realy decide! Everybodys tellin me to go with the 3.73's instead of the headers. I want the part thats gonna give me the most performance. Do gears realy help out an Auto trans box? Im a lil new to a few things. Suggestions please!!

gears for sure. you dont have any mods that would call for long tubes. and if you buy long tubes, youll have to buy a new h-pipe fyi

no 4:10's especially for a auto. but anything will be a gain over stock. try to use the search button. half off the threads on this forum are about gears dude

4.10s DEFINATELY...I got an auto and wouldn't go any other way... You'll def. want 'em....and that would be wayyy more performance over LTs...

4.10's without a doubt, unless you're supercharging, then its your call. i dont care what anyone on here says... when you break the 500hp barrier, even with 3.73's you spin so hard its disgusting. even with drag radials. but since most people aren't going to dump $10,000.00 into a big blower and an engine rebuild, 4.10's are the way to go.

doesnt take 500hp to spin with 3.73

i have 461rwhp, a 3200stall and 3.73s and traction doesnt exist without my slicks

go with 4.10's if your not going to run a power adder

i like juice...and also 4.10's on my 5-speed

3.73's in an aod suk

long tubes are a minimal gain...gears w/ a tire is big...like adding about 100 more ponies
