Default Supercharger reliability

I have the opprotunity to buy a 1992 LX supercharged 331. The car is completely built and completely streetable. I am confident it was well put together but since I have never owned a car with forced induction i was wondering how they are over the long term, as daily drivers. I'd appreciate anything anyone could tell me about the issues they've faced with reliability or anything else with their supercharged stangs. I'd also like to know the setup you've got. Thanks

You should see no reliablity issues with that. I'd drive it with confidence. But if it had an FMU, I'd scrap it and upgrade injectors.

if the motor is tuned right youll have no problems with it at all. the novi 1000 is a good sc and is very reliable. all sc must be rebuilt after years of use. the harder you use it the sooner it needs a rebuild. i run a vortech on my daily driver and couldnt be happier with it
