never herd term used, "drone", when talking bout exhaust. im just wondering what it means. thanks

 

when you're running flowmasters at about 2500 to 3000 rpms you get this really loud humming noise that tends to irriate a lot of people. I kinda like it sometimes. I think it sounds pretty cool.

I get it a lot in my 02 GT and it drives me absolutely insane.

Everytime I pass the kid I sold my Magnaflows to I nearly cry. The deep rumble/gurgle of those mufflers is schweet...

 

you know you people ar e really making me want to switch to the Magna's,lol KEEP IT UP AND I'LL....I'LL....... switch i guess,lol

 

in my truck if i'm at about 2000 rpm...it's insane...with the air on it's even worse

drone is when it's basically at a constant volume...doesn't necessarily mean loud...although that's when it's the most annoying

 

I think Magnapacks and reg Magnaflows sound BADASS on 4V'ers. They sound incredible...and they sound pretty sweeeeeeet on GT's. I got tons of compliments and attention from my Mags, with my Flows I don't get noticed as much.

 

I think Im gonna switch!

 

I'd like to make the switch from my Flowmaster 40 Series...
but I have no clue which to get...
