I was told by itrous bob that I dont need cams with a shot? Is this true? How could that be possible? Cams are supposed to give you great HP numbers, why wouldnt they work with nitrous?

Of course you need cams your motor isn't going to run without them so the nitrous won't do you any good if you take the cams out.

You don't NEED aftermarket cams but they will help, so it is up to you if you want to spend the money.

 

You guys are worthless!!! I know I dont NEED them, I dont NEED nir=trous either, but will they increase the HP? I am going with yes, but this other couple of guys seem to think that it will do nothing.

 

I said they would help, I didn't mean they would help the car fly. So I will spell it out, YES they will help increase HP.

 

i think he meant you don't need any aftermarket cams to run the nitrous. of course cams will help your car. look into VT stage 1 cams and they will add additional power to your car. they won't hurt your performance because you have nitrous if thats what your asking. if you plan to build up your bottom end and eventually go all out with this car get the stage 2's and the power will be more up top and building your bottom end allowing you to rev higher is recommended. anything else you need?

 

If you have to ask if a cam will improve your performance you are the idiot that should be running nitrous.

 

no, you are the worthless one if you didnt know that you could have nitrous w/o bigger cams, and vise versa. and if you get both, then you got BIG hp gains.
