well in order to remove the cats you need something to go in its place so invest in a good X pipe and get rid of the crappy stock H pipe! No need to worry about the tail pipes. The x pipe will connect to your current exhaust manifold and will send the pipes to connect the X from the mid pipe to the cat back portion.

If you dont want the Xpipe then some welding will be on order to finsh you up unless they have some type of bolt on. Good luck!
