Default Need n20 help sprayed and it wasnt good :(

OK so i finished hooking everything up last night and took it for a spin. I dont have a purge so it took a second for the nitrous to get there. I felt it kick in I was like yeah!! the i rolled into second and hammered it. It pulled hard then just feel flat on its face and backfired and wouldnt idol..[:@] I thought it blew..... but then it just started running fine again??????? I hit it again in first just for a couple of seconds and it was fine and pulled hard. but after like 4 sec or so the car just falls on its face.. I am I running out of fuel?? not enough spark?? I havent pulled my plugs yet to see what they look like but I am running NGK's.. any ideas.. I was supposed to race an evo last night and had to back out too [:'(]

Pull your plugs and see what they look like. How does it run on motor? You might not have enough bottle pressure, due to a low bottle temp. or low nitrous volume in the bottle. This will cause it to run pig rich and the car will sputter and gennerally act like crap. Are you running a wet or dry kit?

Its a wet kit. and the bottle should be full. so I dont know why pressure would be down. It was really really humid though.. Still havent pulled the plugs.. going to do that now..

No I did not go with colder plugs.. I didnt think it would have made any difference with only 100 shot.

colder not a big deal, gap them about .040" though.

the gap won't change, if your going lean, the ground strap will start to dissapear. it will melt, then soon after you'll start to burn a hole in a piston

make a hard run and check a couple plugs out, then monitor your fp and see what it's doing doing under load.

do you have a bottle pressure guage? check that when you are spraying and see if that falls off. if thats the problem then you are just getting all fuel

Well did you retard the timing at all? -2 degrees every 50 shot.
