LOL, one of the guys I work with has an explorer and the exhuast is all ****ed up right now, it sounds so crazy. You can hear him coming from so far off.

Magnapacks are the loudest muffler offered, that is considered 'legal'.

Magnapacks make SLP's on a F-body sound like stock mufflers...

if he wants max hp and loudness, long tubes with electric cutouts is the way to go....

if your were to run straight headers that would just be stupid, the loss of power alone is reason enough to not do it, as well as the extra five oh attetnion you will be getting

Cutouts are a y-pipe installed usually right after the headers before the mufflers that lets you "uncap" your exhaust system when you want to run open headers by unbolting a cap. When the cap is on, the exhaust travels through the mufflers, but when the cap is off, the exhaust gases escape at the y-pipe before they reach the mufflers so you get less back pressure. You really only need cut-outs in really high-horsepower applications and racing. You don't want them on the street.

doen SLP make a cat-back for fox bodies???? last time i checked they didnt. they do more with the modern stuff (1994+).

I have mac longtubes, mac o/r h pipe and mac cat back. Its quiet when Im not on it, no drone and at WOT it sounds bad ***. All my friends with stangs are switching to this setup. no attention from cops.
