nitrous
You do and don't.
88-92 5.0's came with forged pistons and can withstand a 150 shot for years and not have a problem.
93+ 5.0's and 4.6's have hyperutectic pistons and can't withstand more than a 100 shot without melting holes in the Sh** for pistons they have.
You don't need forged rods for nitrous but it never hurts to have them. I'm running stock rods and have been spraying my car from 50 to a 250 shot for almost 2 years now.

you dont need any special parts. All you need is fuel. You can run just as much power as blower/turbo guys do as long as you are getting enough fuel and backing the timing off. Keep it around 400whp.....[sm=lildevil.gif]
