DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THEY MAKE A BLOW OFF VALVE KIT FOR PROCHARGER. IS SCT MASS GOOD ?

 

bypass valve= supercharger

blowoff valve= turbo

 

There are cars out there with BOV instead of BPV on a S/C'ed car. They make them but you have to fab your own stuff.

 

i am about to install my BOV on my s/c-ed engine. i had to buy a Blow Thru MAF from PMAS for about 225 bucks but with the procharger setup it might already be blow thru, but im not sure. pretty much in order to put a BOV on a s/c setup the blower has to be a centrifugal, and you have to convert to blow thru, which i have learned by asking 1000 questions on this board, thanx everyone.

 

You also have to have the BOV before the MAF sensor. If not your discharging matered air and it'll make your car run like crap.

 

if your setup is like mine (check my bov conversion post) you can do a similar setup as mine. as for the mas, just get an adaptor to make it blow through, adaptors are like 30$ or you can make your own, oh and you gotta recalibrate it im told[&:]

 

so how do you do it do u just replace the by pass valve with a blow off valve because i tried to do that but nothing happened

 

What did you expect to happen? It will just vent the air into the atmosphere and be louder letting everyone know you are running F/I

 

Is your MAF sensory before or after the BOV/BPV?
