what kind of sound/performance improvement should i hope for from an X pipe?

 

louder and deeper than stock. keeps a nice tone at WOT and in higher power bands. an aftermarket H would be even louder and deeper than an X. <3 my X though.

 

x pipe (off road)+ long tube headers= around 25 or 30 HP along with a good tune of course

The tone you will get from the x pipe will be raspier then stock of course, however, if you got the catted version (w/ hi flow cats) it is supposed to make it deeper i believe.

 

raspier than an h pipe, but not a bad raspy....pretty nice raspy

 

You might hear a whine or whistle from the x as well. Where the air is seperated at the X it is basically a whistle.

 

i have two chamber flowmasters already on and i want a really strong muscle sound would Xpipes get the job done or would an H pipe be better
