Default flowmaster question

wats up guys, im driving a 2001 Mustang GT and im thinking of ordering a Flowmaster 40 american thunder exhaust. ive been told flowmaster sounds nice at high and low RPM ranges but just wanna make sure if this was wat i want. im hoping to be getting a much deeper sound than the stock exhaust i have now and noticeable performance change. anyone with ideas and opinions would be great.

you wont see a noticeable performance gain with a catback. if you do full exhaust (headers, midpipe, catback) you will definitely feel it...but just a catback will net you myabe 3 hp tops or so...nothing noticeable from a butt dyno. but it will definitely be louder and deeper than stock. supposedly flowmasters have a drone somewhere around 2000 rpms ive heard (dont know...ive just heard). If you want deep...Bassani...very deep low rumble that sounds great with no drone. get an o/r H pipe with a Bassani catback...and youll sound INCREDIBLE.

you won't notice any gains out of a catback (NA) just the sound.

dam that really brings my hopes down on just getting a simple exhaust hAHA, so wat should i be getting in order to get a nice performance boost and same time nice deep sound? or am i just better off getting an x pipe or h pipe

im looking at this now, its catted so its legal

let me know if this might give me some sound and HP gains, im not looking to spend too much
