I am working on a custom intercooler and I got 3" pipes on Ebay for turbos. the kit was like 130 shipped and has a grab bag of pipes.

This is what most people do, they are called mandral bends and you just cut and weld them as needed.

The only problem i ma facing is the welding.... TIG welders are really expensive and I would only need it for a few days. I think I may just pay someone to do it.

you can make a TIG welder. you need a 150-200amp alt. and a 5hp electric motor.....and the gas gun you can buy. it sounds retarded to make a tig welder but if you dont have a grand to buy one, its a good idea. ive seen welds done with home made tigs and they look just as good as a store bought welder

and for 65bluestang, check ebay for prebent piping. also, there are sites that sell nothing but turbo parts for people making their own kits. one such is www.forcedfab.com im not saying thats the best one. go to www.turbomustangs.com and ask them who has the best price on prebent tubes

The furthest you'll ever see on mine is a wire brush, so i can't help you much on that one.
