twin turbo setup....need help
this could also be posted under another forum, but since i'm gonna do a tt setup, thought this would fit. i've got a 96 gt w/ vortech s/c and support mod's. making about 400hp. now for those of you that are seriously into cars, you always want more power. now i need someone to tell me about an engine buildup for my car. i'm using my stock block, and i'm gonna send it off shortly to get bored and decked. first off, i'm looking to make around 800whp on a twin turbo setup. i'm wondering if getting it bored 20-30 over would be a good idea. i will be ordering a forged crank, pistons and titanium rods. is this good for bottom end? the heads i'm not sure about at all. what's a good bore on the intake/exhaust? how about a cam setup and rockers? remember it's a GT w/ SOHC. does anyone know anything or have a website that would explain a good setup for this amount of power pushing between 14-18 psi. the motor i'm building will be good for 1000hp. i've done some research on this but there are too many people out the with to many different idea's, which makes me wonder what the best setup would be to be reliable and make big power. thanks.
What are you asking? Which parts to use?
The turbo sizing & pipe sizing will depend on the things done to the engine. If you get two to slap on there now they will be too small when you're making big #'s & you'll need to upgrade.

sorry, i'm looking for some ideas on how to do a good engine setup, i've got the tt setup planned out, just seeing what the best motor setup will be to handle all that hp.
Your block isn't meant to handle that kind of power. Better consider Dart, Man o' War, or maybe the guys at MMR. If you're going to try and make that much power with what Ford gave you, you better have a wheel barrow handy to place the internals in after the motor pukes them out.
Why twin turbos? Two turbo's aren't going to make double the amount of boost, which is a common misconception. A properly matched single can make just as much power. Head over to www.turbomustangs.com. Read for a few days, then start asking questions.

i realize the situation with a single turbo, but honestly i've always wanted a twin turbo setup and it's not gonna cost me much more with the resources i have available. i've been looking at the HP tt setup and will prolly do something similar.
