Default procharger p-1sc

After winter time i am buying a procharger p-1sc, has anyone installed it themselves, if you did how hard is it to install, and what parts/tools do you need to install it? I would rather do it myself to save the money, but if its too complicated i could have it installed by a professional.

My car's in the shop right now having one installed, because I am totally mechanically challenged. So I can't give any clues as to how to install but in a week or so, can tell you what difference it made in the driving/performance of an 06gt.

It's not hard at all. You will need your basic tools nothing special, just fallow the instructions. It took me about 16 hours with some other stuff i had to take care of to get the intercooler to fit.

Install and tuning of the Procharger(guages, intercooler, fuel pump, ect.) for me is going to be $2150. Thats buying the hanheld tuner from the shop and getting the car dyno tuned.

I had a shop do it. Install and dyno tune was $1000 ($800 install/$200 tune).

I had a bunch of other stuff done at the same time but that was the cost of just the system install and the tune.

Prochargers are relatively easy to install. They come with a really detailed manual. But you still need to get it tuned after.
