Default question about nos

I was reading an article about a dry nitrous system that does not spray directly into your cylinders. Is there any truth to this and if so, how does it work?

I don't think any of the off-the-shelf kits spray into your cylinders.
And iirc the difference between dry and wet is that wet systems also inject extra fuel instead of relying on the ECU to figure out that more fuel is needed.

NOS is a brand name, much like Ford or Duracell. NOS stands for (in this context) nitrous oxide systems. They're owned now by Holley.

There aren't any systems that spray into your cylinders, the foggers spray into the intake runners close to the heads, other systems spray at the throttle body, other systems spray under the fuel injectors witch is still in the intake.

Dry nitrous systems do not rely on the ECU for fuel delivery. The computer has no idea nitrous is being added to the motor. The fuel pressure regulator is pressurized to raise injector pressure adding more fuel. The closest to the cylinder you can get with NO2 is the new Nozzle set up. It sits underneath the fuel injector of each cylinder.
