Default how much boost will be gained??

if i drop down from 3.60 to a 3.00 or 2.90 how much boost would be gained?? i was seeing 10psi on my gauge before non-itercooled i am now intercooling it so i know it will loose a lb or so but im just curious if i will see my goal of a minimum of 15-17psi with a 3.00 or a 2.90????

Its hard to guess since it varies so much. I have a vortech SQ trim S/C with a 3.6 and I make 10psi. My buddy runs an intercooled Procharger and he makes 15-16psi with a 2.8

I would look into a Reichard Non-Slip pulley if you go that small.

Hope that helps

Is the 3.6 pulley the stock pulley?

rule of thumb is 2psi per pulley size. each size down gets you about 2ps of boost. unfortunately each step down isnt always the same. from a 3.6 to a 3.0 you should see about 5psi, maybe 6psi. the 2.9 is so close to 3" that its worth about 1psi more then the 3.0" would be.

call vortech, they could probably answer your questions better than it seems you may be getting here.

Yes

Do you have forged internals? Or are you going to be pushing 15psi with an intercooler and a Snow meth kit? That seems pretty dangerous to me. If you are interested in getting rid of the Snow Meth kit send me a PM.
