Default Vortech extras

Hi, I've really been saving up for an installing a Vortech supercharger kit this upcoming spring because the stang will be stored all winter which means I'll have 4-5 months of saving. I know Vortech will give me the 400+ horsepower I am looking for, but it lacks some of the special features just...nice little things that other kits offer that I would like. 2 in specific. A front mount intercooler and as I'm sure you've already guessed...a loud blow off valve. I know they make blow off valves, dont know about intercoolers. How much would it cost me to run both of these? Do they have different piping or would i have to have it fabricated? Also if anyone has one, can you actually here it in person? I was wondering about this because in all the videos it seems pretty much dead silent. Thanks a lot in advance, guys.

the vortech uses a bypass valve. ive heard rumors of being able to make a blowoff valve...but im not sure if it can be done cuz of the MAF or something...im not sure. you can get a race bypass valve which is supposed to be a little louder.

and yes...you can get a front mount intercooler for the vortech. try calling modular powerhouse...they do a lot of work on that type of stuff. im pretty sure you could prolly manage to pick up a paxton front mount intercooler and all the accessories for maybe 1500ish. i know you can do it...but that price is kind of a random ballpark estimate.

don't count on 400RWHP unless you're getting a cooled one

I just finished my intercooler project on a vortech. 429 RWHP from my original 365 RWHP. Used a lightning MAF with MAFIA, and I blow off to atmoshere using a mini-race.

I was wondering about the intercooler too. On my fox I think I need to get a passanger mount bracket cause it will be tight otherwise, that maybe something to look at.

As for a BOV I think you need to put the MAF between the SC and Throttle Body for it to work correctly but dont quote me on this.

Wow man that looks great. Everyones right about the sleeper deal. That's EXACTLY what I'm looking to do. How much did everything cost total? Did you just order EVERYTHING from MPH? How was modifying the piping for the intercooler, tough or is it a do it yourself kinda deal? Thanks.

Go to Modular Powerhouse's website they have a spot for custom made intercoolers that are about $1000 cheaper, or just call them, they are super nice and love to help.
