MAGNAFLOW AND MAGNAPACKS ARE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SYSTEMS!

and yea an offroad mid-pipe will be so much louder you'd think that the stock h-pipe was a mute button [sm=smiley15.gif]

 

not nessisarily(spelling) i have the originals with stock h and it sounds good just the way it is. it is true if you get an off road pipe it will sound louder and better but with the originals and the stock h it doesnt sound to bad and its not that quiet. but in all truth when i get my car to run right i will be modding it and i will get an off road h pipe. possibally the mac pro chamber.

 

I also have the American Thunder catback which comes with the deltaflow mufflers. It does sound pretty good with the stock H-pipe its a definete improvement over stock. JD likes the high pitched ricer sound so thats why he thought it sounded worse than the stock. The Flowmasters will give you a deeper sounding exhaust but it wont be quite as high pitched and loud as the stock one. Now slap an O/R H-pipe on there with the flowmasters you have one bad *** sounding exhaust right there.

 

yeah me personally wouldnt get a off road x pipe with flows. i save the x pipe for the magnaflows or bassani. flows sound so much meaner with an off road h pipe. i always like the set up of mac shorty, mac o/r h and flows. had them on my 86 gt. but im sure the 347 help the sound a little with the cam that was in it.

 

Definetely dont get an X-pipe with flows get the H-pipe. I would also go LT headers instead of shorty.

 

Your going in the wrong direction you need to get some MagnaPacks

 

maybe he doesnt care that much about a 5 more hp gain...flows sound mean...I love the sound of my car believe me but 1 chamber flows make my heart skip [&:]

I have a 98 GT, American Thunder Series. I hate them i have an X-pipe w/o cats. It doesnt sound deep as i does sound with Magnapacks. Im making the switch to Magnapacks. I wa dippipointed with the stock h-pipe with Flowmsters. It didnt sound like enough.

 

WTF are you dumbasses coming in a flowmaster thread and saying buy magnaflow. He doesnt want to buy magnaflow look at the freaking thread title. If you want to ejaculate to the high pitched sound of magnaflow go do it in a thread were magnaflow is actually the topic.
