why not a ford 351w based 408 small block? those are ford engines and you can get stuff for them to fit your stang

im a chevy guy and already heave a few engines i picked the stang up for next to nothing and it will be somthng different

good point. cheap is good. and the small block chevy v8s are some of the best built. but still.....

well it may have a heart transplant but it was cheap and no ***** i dont think so on the chassi dyno in my last car it was around 550 rwp 540 rwt

i'll agree with those numbers when i see a mod list. those engines are no joke when built right.

My friend has a 383 stroker that has 500+ hp pulls 2 ft wheelies and does 10's in the quarter. Its all motor so im not calling bs just yet.

brodix -8 spread port angel plug heads weind team g intake 850 holley and a fairly "large" cam forged bottom end 6 in rods all in a 350 30 over running through a turbo350 high stall converter and a 9in ford with 4.56s and a spool thats the drive line out of my nova the one that will be going into an 87 notch back if i can find headers

Well I guess if your pushing those type of HP numbers there nothing I can really say about your mustangs heart transplanet. Surgery successful.
