Default Compucar Nitrous in a Bag

Anyone have any experiences? I can't find many reviews anywhere online at all. I'm going to be picking one up for $350.00 on eBay. Any comments also appreciated!! Thanks!

a friend of mine is putting a full compucar system on his car. I can get him in touch with you if you want.

the biab kit is very cool.

literally a 5 minute install, there is only 1 downfall, and i think it's worth it anyways.

you have a manually operated button, actually have to hold the button in your hand (it runs from the bottle, splits off and gets power from your cigarette lighter) if your in a 5-speed by yourself it's a bit clumsy, but a buddy can do it, but your relying on him to get on and off the button when your shifting (unless you don't care and don't usually miss shifts.)

we put one on my buddies '95 lightning, and it broke into the 12's

the gym bag sits wherever....you run a plastic feedline through the rocker or whatever to get to the engine bay, then the last foot is steel line that tucks under the hose clamp and sprays through the meter. the icy flow richens up the fuel pressure and spikes it to about 60-80 (i never saw a guage , but it has to to not hurt anything, my NOS 5115 dry kit spikes to 80+)

you can sell 5 years later for what you bought it for, switch it from car to car in minutes, and super ez to hide since no selonoids or anything in the engine bay.

i was gonna buy my buddies...he actually decided if he was gonna stay w/ nitrous, he wanted a fixed kit for more consistency , and spray spray my wifes 4.0 jeep cherokee, but he sold it right b4 i found out he was selling.

they are $350 brand new, and you can sell it all day long for $350 later on.

but like i said, consistency depends on when you hit the button each time, so not a great brcket racer kit. unless you just dial real slow and hit the brakes like EVERYBODY does anyway.

sure, there are no safeguards at all, if you sprayed it while the car was off accidentally, you would need to pull the coil wire and basically flood it out, then wait about 15 minutes and fire it up. also poses the possibility of spraying at idle, or spraying when you didn't want to so you do need to be very careful.

there is only 1 jet and best we figured they came w/ something like 25, 30 , 40 , 50 , 100 (might have been more like 80-90) jets
i think it says, but the biggest one simply says "kick @ss"

thanks for all the info!! i was wondering if you or anyone would know exactly how long the plastic feedline from the bottle, and the button and cigarette plug is.... Is it too short to put in the back, behind drivers or passengers seat? or possibly even trunk? thank you very much!
