I have a 1995 Ford Mustang, I want to cut the stock muffler off and put a H pipe and run with no mufflers, well at least until I can afford Bassani or Borla Exhaust, how will this sound?

hey, ive been running with just the stock h-pipe on it right now, almost all sumemr ive had it that way, no mufflers and the exhaust just coming outta the h-pipe, i absolutely hate how it rasps off though when i down shift, but it is loud as hell when u step on it, just don't be rompin on it everywhere you go and when in town, keep an eye out for cops, gt's exhaust usually echo through towns with tight buildings, but then again, i did a little custom fabrication and made some piping that came off the h=pipe and right out the side of the car right in front of the rear tires, sounds pretty good though, and looks nice, some chrome tips from auto zone, o man

dont forget the loss in power you'll be getting thats deffinately worth it

 

With no mufflers your backpressure will plumit and your power is gonna hit the porcelain express.... I would just wait untill you could get the exhaust you wanted, then go from there.
