Default forced induction fuel management

im new to forced induction on a ford, i have experience with an 87 grandnational....

im about to do a single turbo 88' 5.0 and im curious is there is a need for a programed ECU for turbo fuel maps
or will a C&L MAF and big injectors be enough?
obviously i want this motor to last...

thanks for the help

of course, you need need the fuel maps or tune or whatever
you want to call it, for forced induction on a 5.0.
Fuel maps is what i have to deal with on my
2003 Honda CBR 1100xx, on nitrous. You need a dyno tune on
mustangs.

id stay away from C&L on a forced induction motor first of all

second, yes you need some type of a tune. you have a fuel options;
custom chip from a dyno tuner
tweecer
pms
megasquirt
BS3
and many more but these are the main ways of tuning
