I hear a lot of good things about Cometic Head Gaskets.
They have copper and Multi-Layered Steel. I know
Grand National Guys running 23+psi on them.

Normally I would say Fel-Pro gaskets are great and should be enough. But if you're oging to be pushing that much boost and you want to be certain it will hold, then go for the Cometic gaskets. But I am warning you, they are expensive... like $80+

Yeah, my tuner told me to use cometic. I blew a fel pro but my boost retard died on me. I think I will give cometic a call monday and see what they recommend.

I am pulling the short block and having it o-ringed, along with the heads. I told my engine builder I want to run 25-28lbs of boost for next year. I am changing my crank pulley and putting in 96lb injectors and going to pour the coals to it.

I am running 10.30@135 now. I am having the tremec proshifted, full race port on the heads, downs intake full race port, 2' primary to 3 1/2' collector kooks, direct port 150 shot, and alot of suspension work done. Heres the last setup I ran.

He doesnt have to worry about that
because he said he's o-ringing the block and heads.
Based on that, the mating surfaces will be all good.
I'm sure he has a reputable machinist doing the work.
