Im looking into exhaust, but im going to just do mufflers for now nd then do the pipes and headers in three years when i can delete the cats,
Whats the difference between Flowmaster 40 Series, and American Thunder's

Sound! I personally run Spintech mufflers.

 

A friend of mine has stock exhaust except for 2 Flowmaster offroad series muffler, sounds awsome, great tone....do it....lol
I have the same flowmaster mufflers but have a header so, she has a lot more bark...
as for the cats , I just beat the guts out of them

 

You can get a high flow catted h pipe and still pass inspection. Also, I personally love my SLP's.

 

ive got 40 series on mine and i love the sound. nice deep sound to it. Howver idk what it would sound like with just the mufflers becuase i got an h pipe with no cats and mac headers.

The current American Thunder exhaust kits from Flowmaster contain the Super 40 series mufflers. The Super 40 series has a slightly larger case than the Original or Delta Flow 40 series but still has the Delta Flow technology built in. The Super 40 case is painted black as opposed to grey/silver that is typical for Flowmaster. The lager case gives the Super 40 a slightly deeper tone with reduced interior resonance. Hope that helps.
