turbo sizes
^^i'll comment. why do people comment when they have no clue what they're talking about...ruffrider for example[&:]
you'd need something like a t66 .68ar .....60somthing will be fine
first off...if you still have the non pi 4.6....you have a lot of work to do before you can think about 400whp...let alone 600whp. i know a guy with a 97 non pi gt...bolt-ons w/10psi and meth injection to make 360whp
...heads are garbage and won't flow enough to make power. his same setup is worth an easy 100whp more on a pi 4.6.
btw it's hilarious to see the centri guys talking about turbo lag...centri's don't have a noticable lag since they only build boost with rpms..and they only START making boost at 3k rpms. turbo's will make FULL boost by 3-3300rpms. you call it lag because it feels like a nitrous hit when you gain an instant mountain of tq (compared to the smooth gain of a centri).turbo lag is a thing of the past (literally) with a properly matched system. while there is no such thing as ZERO lag on ANY system (single or tt), it's not noticable with the right setup made by a good turbo manufactuer (often overlooked...all turbos are not the same...not even close). and it's called foreplay on one that's not the best setup
i have a t76 q trim...which is pretty damn big on a street car... and get 17psi (pump gas tune)by 3200rpms...plus it's a 347ci so it has tons of low end tq already....no lag

i am going to be doing a complete rebuild with forged iternals and am also going to go with the PI head swap
by a 60 something ar, is that on the compressor ( how about on the turbine)?
what if i did twin 50mm turbos 57 trim with a .50 AR compressor and a .63 AR turbine?
