Default V^ nitrous ?s

i have a '00 v6 with basic bolt-ons, CAI, Dual Flows etc. I haven't really wanted to invest a whole load of money because I know it would do so much more on a GT or other more powerful car.

I have been eyeballing NOS because it seems to be more interchangeable, unlike a supercharger or turbo. I would probably do it with a couple of friends to avoid installation costs. So I would like to opt for a relatively easy kit, even if it means a little less HP. I glanced at the NX kit with the GEN2x accesories to add in. So i have a few questions.

1. Which type of kit would require no professional install?

2. What gauges are needed?

3. Would most components would be reusable on a different car?

4. is a tune required?

5. Which kit would be the safest?

6. Lastly, i think this has been answered but just to reinforce, all i would need would be the Nx kit, the Gen2x kit, and the window switch?

Thanks in advance

1. none require professional install, dry is easier.

2. only nitrous pressure is required, comes with kit. fuel pressure would be a good one though.

3. yes.

4. anything bigger than a 50 shot on your car i would say get a tune.

5. nx plate imo. make sure to get a window switch.

6. yes, first time you hit the nitrous you will think it the greatest invention

1. Which type of kit would require no professional install?None

2. What gauges are needed?bottle pressure guage which comes with the kit in an NX

3. Would most components would be reusable on a different car?pretty much all of them except for some of the wiring might not be but that's penny's

4. is a tune required? for 50+ on a V6 it would be very strongly recommended

5. Which kit would be the safest?NX ford efi kit with the genx-2 upgrade

6. Lastly, i think this has been answered but just to reinforce, all i would need would be the Nx kit, the Gen2x kit, and the window switch? Yes

Default RE: V6 nitrous ?s

I was lookig at the wet kit install and it doesn't look as hard as i thought so i'd go with that.

How much further over 50 hp would i be able to go, because if its not that much, i wouldn't go with the tune.

Third, if i did get a tune, that runs about $300 right?

And is the bottle pressure gauge on the bottle or could i stick it up front on the a-pillar with a fuel pressure gauge?

Thanks for all the help

it's on the bottle, max shot usable on v6 i'm not sure about but even a 50 shot on a v8 can blow it up it's just not as likely, always safer to get it tuned
