Default Price range!?

Ok.. Well i jus basically sold my f-150 and now i have 11 grand to throw away.. BUT i wanna save atleast 2 grand for any "surprises".. And i was wonderin if 9 grand was a good estimate on a price range for turning a mach 1 w/few bolt ons into a terminator competitor... See i originally wanted an 03-04 cobra but the cheapest one i could find at the time was a black one going for 30,000 w/19,000 miles.. BUT i got the DSG mach 1 for 17 cash w/20,400 miles... Would appreciate any help with my question! Thanx

nine grand should get you above and beyond what your looking for. hell 3500-4500 will get you procharged and in the mid 400's safely coupled with the solid rear axle should put you deep into the low twelves high elevens

Get a vortech kit from MPH or a procharger kit from jmschip.com. and slap it on with a good dyno tune and you'll be close. About 5-6 grand will getcha what you want.

Yea i was hoping it would... Originally wanted to get a kenne bell, due to the fact that i saw this real sweet setup and you really dont see the bells on machs... But yea... Wouldnt mind a vortech though... And what would yall suggest the remaining cash go into.. Keep in mind this is basically only gonna be like a weekend driver/nice sunday driver...

One more thing.. Ummmm... Most of the cobra and chevy guys in my area have somewhat of a deep pocket and are in the 600-700 area... What would yall suggest to give my mach the reasurrance it needs when being around the big boys!

You might want to invest a small amount of $ on suspension while you are making the FI upgrades. Anything that can assist with grabbing the amount of power you are aiming for is worth throwing down some $ on.

maybe some forged internal parts, if you are looking to go high boost and maybe add some spray you will more than likely be needing them.
