Default Headers Help

I have a 98 GT with Borla Cat Back and a BBK Off Road H. I plan on purchasing headers but I do not know all that much about headers. Should I go with Long Tube or Shorties, and any brand recommendations?

Most definitely LT's. I think BBK is the way to go also. MAC's are a little less expensive and I haven't heard too many people say anything negative about them either. Just keep in mind that if you do get the LT's that you will need to get a new mid-pipe too. Which brings me to a question that I need answered and may help you out as well. I found a catted short X-pipe on pypesexhaust.com for $189.00. I haven't seen any reviews about them. Does anyone know if they are any good?

I have ceramic coated MAC LT headers and the only problem I have is a little light rust around the collectors. Other than that they still look brand new.

I didn't like the design of the Pipes exhaust...not a "True" X pattern. I hate when they put the bends side by side and just have a cut out for them. That to me is the cheap way to go.

If you're going to get long tubes, why the hell would you want cats?
