Well, i figured I bashed them enough, I might as well give you guys an update.

Well, 3 months, 27 e-mails (20 unanswered), and 14 long distance phone calls, and $17 in shipping charges, they're going to replace the X-pipe.

After being given the run around, calling several places, talking with different people and getting the "he's out to lunch" at 11 am, 2pm, 3pm, and then a "He's left for the day" after that.

Dan was the guy I spoke to at Magnaflow and he was pretty cool. I'm just going to sell it b/c I'm selling the car and I would just be eating that money. I may have a buyer locally (I would prefer that) but if it falls through I'll post it on here.

I'm just glad they didn't try to screw me over and say that the car was running rich, b/c I have a report from ford saying that the car was lean (No fault of the X-pipe).

So, one can only guess how long it'll take to get to me, but it's official, they're going to replace it for me!

I was thinking '88 stroker, but I may just get this '90 LX w/ a **** load of bolt ons, throw on some heads, cam, and intake (the only mods that aren't done to the car) and then save for a used S/Cer or stroker kit.

Going from a '98 to an '90...lol I don't think it'll fit...

I really want to go side exhaust on the 5.0

I think I can sell it for near what I paid, so it's all good.
