Mongoose kit installed Pics!
well I've had it on for about a month now but ive been on break and busy so id figure id post up some pics. think i posted it once but dont remember, so here it is anyway. car is fast but a seal is leaking in the s/c and oil is getting all over inside my intake and discharge tubes
, so I'm sending it to vortech so they can fix it in a couple of days.... so my poor car will be down for a week or 2

. im a little disappointed in vortech, but mph has done a great job with their customer service giving me things to do to make sure its the s/c and not just blowby etc.

What kind of oil are you using? I was just reading on the MPH forum that they reccommend NOT to use a synthetic, I think because it is attributable to leaky seals.
Maybe this was you posting over there??? idk

the car is lots of fun and really fast, but I havent really been on it since it started leaking, and what do you mean by oil seperator? as in to catch blowby? because I have done that already and it didnt do anything lol
and nope that wasnt me, i saw that somewhere too but Ive just been using regular castrol gtx dino oil and it still leaks.... my guess is that mobil 1 doesnt do it to them its just the superchargers.... at least customer service has been decent at vortech, but me having to pay to ship it their and all the down time does somewhat anger me.
the oil separator is he is talking about goes in line with the pcv valve. it keeps the motor from sucking oil from the crankcase when under vacuum. i had the same thing happen to me. pulled my upper manifold one day and found it dripping oil. the tb, sc discharge, the sc itself and even the sc intake was full of oil. i thought the seals in the sc exploded or something. got an oil separator and the oil hasnt been back since. you just have to remember to drain the separator every week or two.
I bought a water catch for an air compressor like mph told me too and installed it in the line from the drivers side valve cover to catch blow by and it was futile, still leaks quite a bit, I also installed a brand new oem pcv valve for good measure to no avail also.
