well like the title says, i wanta dry nitrous setup for my 3.8L which has true dual exhaust, short-throw shifter, and a tlok...the shot will be a small 50 shot...my question is where will i tap into the stock intake tubing to insert the nitrous nozzle? i had an aftermarket intake but it didnt fit correctly so i yanked it off and i want to make everything look completely stock which is why i opted to put the stocker back on...any suggestions?

There are a lot of places you could put it. As long as it's after the filter but before the MAF then you should be okay. If you're looking to keep it a secret, try running it under the bottom so it's difficult to see from teh top.

yeah i plan on running it to where nobody can see it...but if you have seen the stock intake its gonna be hard to do a dry setup...heres a link to a pic of the engine bay of a v6...look on page 150...the filter is directly before the MAF sensor so its pretty much impossible to do a dry setup...guess its gonna be a wet system for me...

Do you have an actual pic of that area or can you snap a pic? It doesn't seem as bad as you think (judging by the image on page 150.)

I've never looked in the engine bay of a V6, but I imagine there must be some way to move the air filter, perhaps via a CAI or something along those lines.

Not that I'm against a wet kit... I run a wet kit myself... but It's going to be a lot harder to hide.

That doesn't look too difficult. You will want to use dry if you want to keep it on the DL.

you DO NOT WANT to tap b4 the maf, you need to be after it, and close to the intake opening , like tap right into the tb on a 5.0

if you squirt b4 the maf you will richen up the fuel to an already richened mixture and run like a$$

unless you are not using the style that spikes fuel from vacuum, if you are trying to freeze the maf, then yes

but then you would not be tapping it, just putting the steel line under and clamping it down
