anderson power pipe
they are 4" diameter so they flow a lot more air. also, a sc can push air really well but it cant suck it up very good. the power pipe has a large inside diamter plus smooth bends allowing for air to flow in easily and smoothly. this makes the sc more efficient. more air in the intake pipe means more air the sc can compress
Referred to also as a "boostpipe" they flow air into the supercharger better allowing it to run more efficiently thus in most cases giving you an extra # or two of boost. You can get the AFM either way. You can add it as an upgrade in most s/c kits or you can buy it seperate. I upgraded with my kit and got the powerpipe. see sig.
I am putting a vortech v2sq on my mach. Its the non aftercooled kit. I am also looking into getting a afm pipe and using a mr freeze meth/water injection system to keep the air temps chilly. You guys think that should work well for me?
yes it will, nanaki was running a similar setup and making over 400 rwhp
