Default nitrous hookup

those who have setup a nitrous system on a 99-04 gt, where is the fuel feed line thats at least 38psi that i need to T off of?
also if you mount the bottle in the trunk, what did you do with the floor board of the trunk? did you cut it or drill through it or what?

thanks

Im not sure about the Fuel line as I have not installed one on a newer mustang yet. I have however intstalled many Zex kits on Hondas back in my ricer days ( I am newly converted ). As for the trunk floor, just CAREFULLY (so you dont puncture the tank or any lines) drill a hole in a safe location to run your lines then epoxy it so moisture doesnt get in. I also reccommend a Blow Down tube that way if your bottle preassure blows your burst disk you dont get a royal buzz , it'll dump it outside.

on 99-03.5 GT's you use the shraeder valve that is on the front passenger side, 03.5-04 gt's have to either get some earlier rails or use the fuel block

no they don't. 03.5-04's dont have them. if you dont have one you need the nx adapter. it sucks because its $50

Yes it does suck because I feel like I need that adapter instead of using the supplied T in the kit - namely because a T will step down fuel line diameter at least at that point and I don't know what effect that will have on flow. All I know is that fuel psi shouldn't change. Fuel flow with a T is a question mark...

i like the nx adapter, its such an easy install, and it comes with a plug on the other side that i took off to put my fuel pressure sending unit on, it fit perfectly!

change your spark plugs before you put the adapter on, you need to remove it to get to one of the plugs.

yeah someone on another board told be that using the adaptor is the best way even though you have to shell out for it

how do you install it? im buying the adaptor by itself so idk if it will come with directions.
also how do you relieve the pressure in the fuel lines (im assuming that i will need to do this when i put the adaptor in).
btw fedex.com says the adapter is at my door : )
