single or twin??

what do you think is better for a street car that will also be used at the track? a single turbo or a twin???????/ trying to make own system but cant decide between the 2

twins are nice because you can get small turbos cheap at the junkyard. single is nice because there is a lot less tubing.

twin turbos means twin waste gates as well so there is a few more bones youll be spending. id go with a single. plenty of hp, less to fabricate, less crap under the hood and its easy to fab up the hot parts with a pair of flipped shorty headers

cool thanks, do you know anything about the selection of turbos? i was looking at a 60mm-to- 67mm turbo?

hey kweb check out my photobucket. i got the diesel turbo 60mm, homemade kit. 40mm pit wastegate and turbo xs blowoff.

Both have their advantages. Twins are smaller and run one turbo off each bank of cylinders. There is more tubing and more expensive though. A single will need to combine the exhaust gases and that is harder to do evenly. Less expensive. It is up to you which you think is best though. Good luck
