Quick question. whats ur opinons on headers and x/h pipe if i already have a slp loudmouth on an 02 gt. Im looking for most performance/hp for the money.
BBK or MAC Longtubes are the best for the bang if you are on a budget. Some people here will say that MAC isnt the greatest of quality but my LT's still look brand new after seven months and 20,000 miles.
Mid pipes all depend on what you want.
Lots of power in the powerband and good sound = O/R X pipe
Power in the bottom end and a deep old car rumble go with an O/R H pipe.
i would go with bassani if u have the money but either bbk or mac then match it up with an off road x pipe then u will have some good numbers and the people will here u coming
also i hear a lot about the kooks race headers, does anybody know anything about them. and im actually suprised to see nobody recommended coated hooker longtubes. any reason why? thanks for the help.
Well I wouldnt buy anything BUT the ceramic coated bet Kooks is really expensive for something you can get the same thing out of a set of BBK or MAC LT's. I would stick to one of these two.
LT's will give the best power gains, no doubt about it. If you don't want to spend that kind of money and the hassle to install them you can always get shorties. Be sure that they are equal length. BBK has a new tuned length header designed for 4.6 engines.
