If i have my motor tuned to the most timing i can run with 93 octane gas, could i use a wet nitrious system, and use a speperate 3-5 gallon 114 octane tank to feed the wet system so that i do not have to retard my timing under spray?

Probably not. Nitrous will want both the better octane and less timing. I run a dedicated fuel system to my nitrous kit in one of my cars. I mix 118 with 93from the stock tank. I also run a 3 step retard box.

Yea, I wouldn't really push it. I am running my Cobra 2* advanced right now and when I run spray I use like 113 from the track and haven't had any detonation but I am only running a 100 shot currently.

i think it would work fine , but it seems like an awful lot of work when you can justrun a timing dial on your msd box for $50 and dial whatever you want , whenever you want , wherever you want.

but i see no reason why 20 points of octane wouldn't make up for about 4-6 degrees of timing

but thats just a guess
