I just recently bought an 02 gt, looking to run nitrous, 100-150 shot most likely. im not at all new to nitrous but i am new to the 2v motor. first of all currently the car has 3.73 gears, steeda shifter, long tubes, x pipe, flowmasters, intake, tb/plenlum, i also have an xcal2 which i will be using to tune around the nitrous, so heres my question, how much shot can i safely run on a god tune, i was thinking no more than 150, second wet or dry, ive always ran a wet kit but ive heard that 4.6 owners have had problems with pooling on the stock heads, also can anyone sugest a complete setup, ive been seeing a plate kit, what is this, i wont be half assing this steup as i want to it be safe and reliable. any info would be great, really appreciate the help.

 

The biggest shot you can run is a 150 shot you will need a new fuel pump though. As for wet or dry if your gonna be running over 100 shot i would recommend a wet kit .The plate kit from NX has a plate that sits inbetween the plenuim and intake manifold.

 

so for a new fuel pump what yould be recomended, like a walboro 255?

 

Ford Focus SVT pump. I dont think the walbro likes the variable voltage the returnless system uses.

haha youre kidding right, having owned a focus and knowing that the standard and svtf pumps are the same id take my chances with the stocker, i had my focus for under 20k miles and went through 3 pumps, 2 being svt pumps.

 

u can spray a 125 shot on ur stock pump

 

SVT focus pumps put out more fuel than a GT pump

 

im running 310 to the wheels and a 150 shot on the stock fuel pump but i got 30 pound inj. and zex nitrous plugs.Im on the stock bottomend to.On the spay im geussing im around 450 to the wheels.Its a NX express kit.Oh yea its a wet kit on a 99 gt
