Spray and Vortech'd (Question)
So I am looking at getting a Mongoose Vortech Kit from MPH. Kit comes with the blower, tuner w/ custom built tune, fuel pump, spark plugs, 42lb injectors, 90mm MAF and IAT sensor. Now with my calculations and from what i hear from everone else, I should be making about 305-315rwhp after the blower is put on.I already have a Venom V500 nitrous kit on my car that I would like to keep on. Currently I am spraying a 75 Dry shot. Would I be safe still spraying here and there with the blower on? What I have gathered is the stock 4.6L blockis good up to about 440rwhp(ish). I also have heard when you have boost from a blower/turbo and you are spraying, it somewhat doubles the shot you are spraying.
Hope some people can help me out.
Thanks!

he's NPI, so that's right around where he should be.
your block isn't really "good" up to 440RWHP. 440 is when you're in danger of popping. 400 is the magic number on stock motors.

you can run the nitrous but id cut the shot down to a 25 since it will get you about 50hp when under boost.
you arent getting a custom tune, your getting some one's guess at what your car will run and they are sending you a tune based on their experiences. if the tune comes from the mail and not a dyno, its not custom.

My tune, and countless others, was DEAD on from MPH without them ever seeing the car. Being that its a full boltons car with a set of n/a cams I think its safe to say they can tune almost anything remotely. I never even had to get the Xcal out of the box on the dyno. I made 2 pulls (first one the dyno wasn't setup correctly and ended the run early) and I was done. A/F ratio was dead on, and man oh man was it solid (doesn't vary more than about .2)
You get on the dyno after the install and check the tune. If its not making the correct power levels or the a/f ratio etc is messed up you can either adjust it via the SCT XCAL2 or you can have them send you another tune via email in a matter of minutes.
Just because the person doing the tuning is not phyiscally at the location you are while on the dyno doesn't mean squat. you still get the same feedback from the dyno (a/f, hp, tq) and they can make all the changes that someone physically there can make.
FYI, I don't think MPH offers the mongoose kits with tunes for the NPI cars. A couple of people on here have gotten them and they either had MPH do it at the shop or they had someone else tune the setup.
So far as the N2o, I was reading up on a website (I think NX) and they have developed a kit specifically for centri setups. The kit sprays more down low and backs off as the boost builds, so you get that instant KB hit and the top end pull of a centri.
