Default how about this kit?

Here is a kit a friend brought over for me to look at. He is asking $300 so I offered him $200.. I think he is going to sell it to me for that.

The kit was on a car with a steeda timing advancer or whatever they are called.. and the guy sprayed 150 shot through it. He blew the car up. It has only been used a couple of times he says..

I think it is a good deal... Just keep in mind that those plastic brackets might not cut it at tech at your local track.

Thanks for the quick reply..

The only thing is .. I had my heart set on the NX wet 4.6 plate kit. and this is a dry kit. It is suppose to work with the computer and its "enrichment module" to richin up the a/f when the nitrous is flowing. I'm just a little scared though..

Another thing.. any good link on how to identify NOS jets?

To get the proper numbers on the jetting. You should go to their website. It should be on there.Otherwise, the jets are numbered. But you won't know what you'relooking at without the jetting diagram.Wet is the only way to go...

$200 is a great deal, even $300 is fair w/ the extra's, thats a newer bottle too, i'd guess '04
there is a symbol after all the dot markings.....it looks like an "A" the 2 pairs of numbers b4 and after that symbol are the month and year the bottle was made. a newer bottle is worth $100-$125 alone

if it says .042 it's a 42 jet

wetis the only way to go ???? thats up for discussion , how many guys backfired on a dry kit last year ?? oh yeah none, cuz there is nothing flammable in the intake.

i would pull the fittings on that selonoid right away, purge the heck out of it w/ some nitrous , that tape needs to be completely off, and use paste instead , it's bonehead moves like using tape on fittings that will make a selonoid hang open causing a nitrous explosionand gives nitrous a bad name.

no reason to be scared of a dry kit, it's basically foolproof.

if your not bracket racing for a living and can live w/ et's that are +/- .001 then your good.

buy it, you'd get $350 on ebay all day long probably

I ended up getting that kit for $225.. anyone know of any good web pages that would help on the install as far as running lines and stuff?

also how about a purge kit.. I've been looking one of these kits:
http://www.nitrousdirect.com/purge-kit.html
. I'd like to run dual purge lines out the heat extractors in my hood pointed backwards a little..

can you use a cryo2 purge kit?

If you want to convert it to a wet kit and use your solenoid for a purge, I have some extra parts laying around. Just shoot me a pm.
