Default supercharge or not

I have an 88 mustang with a 4 cyl in it right now. I am planning on putting a 351w with a stroker kit, exhaust, performance chip, CAI, GT40 heads, and some other mods. My question is would it be worth supercharging it? I want the car to be fast but i am not planning on taking it to the track often, if at all. Also how fast would it be if i ran around 10lbs of boost through it?

Is it worth supercharging? How fast do you want it? With all motor, it won't be slow. Look back at the S351 Saleens. 351 blown, 500+ hp @ 8 psi. Realisticly, those cars were barely streetable. Unless you want a monster, I say go with just the motor. You could always add a blower later if you wanted to kick it up a notch.

Make the setup & give it to me! Like bird said, it sound's like you'll be making more hp than you need for street.

The problem is I am not sure what the exact setup is going to be rigth now. I am still trying to decide how much money I can afford to put into it. I am lookin for a new job so I can pull some more money in but I need to get it painted before I do anything. Part of the reaon I was asking is because I was planning on getting a mach1 hood for it but it would be useless if I supercharge it. I guess I am getting ahead of myself right now but my parents say always plan ahead so.

I live in Central Illinois and I just want to be able to smoke most of the imports and 2 other mustangs. One of the mustangs is a newer style saleen (not sure of the specs or mods, but I dont think there are any, and I dont think it is supercharged). The other mustang is thegmkillers331 mustang I believe his specs are on this forum somewhere. I just want to know if I could take them without supercharging it.

I'm sure you can beat both of them with a n/a 351w depending on how much you sink into it, you could even bump it up to a 408 safely. Get the engine together, & if it's not enough put the blower on. I'm sure after you drive it for 2 weeks you'll be wanting more power anyway.
