Intake/MAF problem
okay,
so im going up to 11-12#s for the P1SC and I baught an 80mm MAF and a 4' adaptor plate to make it fit on my car.
before I put the gasket between them, it was blowing alot of air out. Now the gasket is in, its still blowing air between the two, but not as much.
how bad will this effect my boost and can somthing like that hurt my engine?
yes, its a ghetto-riged intake and my MAF is in the same location as if it was a normal CAI on a stock car....not in the fender like Prochargers kits are supposd to.
any help would be great!
thanks!

I had the same problem(my old plastic maf body was warped). I have a PMAS Pro Tube now, no more problems.

Do you realize that you are using a draw through MAF for a blow through setup? $255 is not that much to spend to get the right MAF for your application.

i know a guy in nebraska that actually used a 2005 mustang gt MAF on his 04 mach 1 with D1 (it was a procharger). It works better thana 1999-2004 MAF meter and worked better with a blow through system. He is running 14psi on it.
