Default ATI S/C question

I recently purchased and installed a P1-SC Procharger for my 87 5.0. The kit came with a fuel pump, I was wondering if anyone knows what size fuel pump it is? 190, 155?

Thanks

Not sure. I got a seperate 255lph pump for my P-1SC. Do you know what the part number is for the kit? Usually you can look it up by that.

Ahh, I see. I was assuming that it came with an intank pump. That pump is an inline pump that attaches outside of the tank instead of replacing the stock pump. With the setup that you have, you still use your stock pump. It's the ATI ProCharger FP001I-001 Pro-Pump "inline HP" Fuel pump to be exact.

I'd highly recommend getting an intank pump even if you do use the inline pump.

The inline pump is still good to use as it's a great addition. But a good 255lph intank pump will kick ***. As far as what brand to get, Walbro pumps are great and everyone seems to love them. I went a slightly different route and bought a "CAM" 255lph pump. A dealer on coral.net sells them for $79.75 shipped to anywhere in the US. Every pump is tested and everyone I messaged that bought one liked it. So I got one myself and I haven't had any issues.

Here's a link to the ad. It is old but he still honors the price and he's been selling them daily now.

If your planning on running a wet kit with the super charger then you need more than just the 255lph pump.I maxed a 255lph pump with the stock fuel lines and rail at 7000 rpms with just 10 psi. I went with a separate fuel cell, pump and regulator for the nitrous and run C16 for the nitrous fuel cell and let just the engine run off the stock fuel tank. jmo.

For what it's worth, I didn't max out my 255lph with a supercharger w/ 10 PSI of boost and a wet kit spraying a 100-shot. Never once had a problem with that setup.

You were seeingbig drops in fuel pressure with that setup?
