Hey guys i was just wondering what you thought about the flowmaster super 40's. I have an 04 gt and am thinking about getting them some time this week. This guy at this shop can get the super 40s and put them on for just 260 bucks. Im just wondering what you guys think about them.

I think they sound pretty good on 4.6s. I prefer the MagnaFlow on your car though.

They did a test to see if there was a difference between the flowmaster regular 40 series mufflers and their super 40s. The end result: one was black and the other wasnt. Get regular flowmasters. nuff said.

just buy an american thunder cat-back they fit much better than just weldling in mufflers

Buuuut, the am thunder series doesn't come with the louder mufflers like it used to. I just had the am thumder kit installed on my stang, and it is the same loudness as stock, just sounds meaner.....not louder. I need an H pipe to really louden the exhaust to where I want it.

Most people would disagree, but i have had firsthand experience on the sound of that exhaust setup, and its badass, especially at WOT

i think thats the most bad *** sound from any exhaust w/ that setup...but im sure magna fans will argue.

I thought flows sounded better with an H pipe? All I have read is magna + X pipe and flows + H pipe.
