Default Legality and performance exhaust

I got busted last night for having "improper mufflers" aka too loud. I need to get it fixed and tested within 20 days. Thing is, im runnin forced induction. Think i can replace the slp loudmouth with flowmasters, and use the stock h-pipe? thanks

if you bought the SLP system in the last 2 years, their catbacks allow interchangable mufflers. you should be able to buy the power flos and just do a quick swap.

i actually had slp lm1s on my car before i removed them about 5 months ago.

next time, shtu the **** up when i give advice that may offend you but come in handy with the origninal poster's question.

i'm sick of this forum getting pissed because i recommend hatches over notches and flows over slp. it's a god damn opinion, not a fact *******.

i'm not disagreeing that they're not LOUD. i switched to the LM2s because the 1s were too loud. i was questioning the whole "CRX" thing. that's super insulting to any v8 to say it sounds like a 4cyl!

i wonder what a mustang would sound like with the $20 ebay mufflers though...
