Default H-Pipe = FRUSTRATING

I've got a 99 GT and I want a BBK H-Pipe to go along with a new exhaust kit I'm getting. (I have stock headers) I've looked all over and all the O/R h pipes I find are for full length headers!! I heard the h pipes made for shorties would work but I don't know that for a fact. Help please!

you need the one for shorties - because stock headers are considered shorties

Do I need an MIL eliminator kit or new 02 sensors? Or can I just use the stock ones I have now.

As long as you aren't going with an Off-road midpipe you won't need the MIL Eliminators... should be able to use the same O2 sensors...

Ya because you kept the same sensors..mine is fine too with out cats because i have all the sensors in the pipe,I had one removed and the light came right on ,make sure you put the sensors in the same spot too....I had to add another sensor bung in the x pipe cause it only came with two holes and you need threee or four depending on the car.

I thought you needed MIL eliminators if you got an off road h pipe...

You will need MIL eliminators for the rear. You have four O2 sensors. 2 before the cats and 2 after each cat. The 2 before the cats read the amount of exhaust you are making and the rear 2 after the cats tell the computer if the gas has been burned enough to make for clean emissions after passing through the cats. The MIL eliminators (Malfunction Illum Light) just send a constant signal to the ECU telling it that the emissions are clean, reguardless of the fact that you have no cats and that the emissions really arent clean. So you will need MILs for the rear.
