They talked me into it!
So I go into strictly performance to have my car lowered with the Eibach pro-kit. Well they talked me into puting Nitrous on the car. Well they didn't have to talk much
. I had been thinking about a power adder maybe going SC next year. Well I decided to bite the bullet and go with a 125 shot Zex kit. I thought it might be fun without being something I would have to live with continuesly, I mean I could always take it out or just shut the bottle off. I mean with the mods I'm at 304 rwhp without the juice.
Well what a diference nitrous makes. I mean wow! She dynoed at 418 rwhp on the juice and you can definetly feel it. After spraying for the first time I think I'm hooked! I'm still a little uneasy about it but hey I think I can get used to it!

This is funny as i was just going to say the same thing with my car.....WOW what a feeling. Cars should come this way from the factory.
I have not dynoed my car yet but i went to the track and ran a slow shifting (5spd) 12.05 at 113mph on motor with a 1.56 60 foot which calculates to around 360 at the wheels at 3210lbs. I'm hoping to go 11.30's with a 125 shot (spraying in 2nd,3rd, and 4th gear).
I am for sure hooked..
I cant wait to go to milan dragway now.

Well I havent got any vids yet! I am working on it! The problem is I am starting to feel like a divorced parent. I mean the shops have my car Monday thru Friday and I get it on the weekend! I have owned the car for 8 weeks and the dealer had it for 4 (screwed up paint, took time to fix, ended up making first payment for me) then strictly performance has had it a couple weeks running. However, I plan to hold off on any more mods for awhile, well except a shift light and some LCA's and maybe a adjustable panhard. Anyway I plan to figure out how to post a stupid photo on this forum and maybe get some audio and video clips together (if you got any advice there let me know).

What a rush huh? It was a little bit scary I gotta admit, I mean my car only has 1700 miles on it, I've never used nitrous before and the guys like "whatever you do dont miss a shift", of course I miss a shift. However, I wasnt power shifting and other then scaring the **** out of me it didin't do anything but decelerate as it went back down from 80 mph (i missed the gear and just left it in neutral with my foot of the gas). The only thing running through my mind was what am I gonna tell the wife LOL! I mean she doesn't even know about the nitrous yet! I was thinking dont worry they said they can put a new short block in it![sm=smiley5.gif]. Anyway after I figured out what happened it was okay. It's still gonna take a little while to get figured out. I dont think I'm ready for the track yet but from 0 to 70 getting on the highway watch out!

I guess I have to ask. Did they put the kit in, and not install a window switch? Installing a N20 kit in a 5-Speed car and telling the guy "Just don't miss a shift" is completely BS.
